MyClock™ Help

CLOCK FACES

Dimensions: Diameter : 7.5cm
                 Center hole Diameter: 0.7cm

Word-Template
  • Paste your Photo/s into a Word document, importing the photo over the circle. Adjust your graphic with a right mouse click over the photo - e.g. make the photo larger, smaller, put it behind the circle, crop it, etc., so that your photo fits over the circle. (The circles help you to position your photos and they are not meant to be printed.)
  • When choosing a photo, think about where the central hole will be placed, taking care not to choose a photo which will result in the hole "landing" in an awkward position (such as an eye, a forehead, etc!)
  • Leave a bleed of 2-3 mm of your photo on each side over the edges of the circle, so your photo will be printed correctly onto the perforated clock faces and there will be no white edges. Be careful that your photo does not have too much bleed which will overlap onto the neighbouring clock faces.
  • Ideally please do a test print on a blank piece of paper. Hold the test printout behind the perforated clock faces and hold them together against a source of light. This way you can verify that your photos are correctly positioned and that the printing areas match.
  • When printing do not scale the pages (e.g. fit to paper or shrink large pages) as otherwise the positions would not fit anymore

Specification „our paper": White 200g/mpaper for digital colour laser systems
Attention: If you are using your own paper, print your photo on thick paper (at least 120 gr.) so that your newly-printed clock face does not crimp or fold.

PDF-Template
  • Open this file in Photoshop and use it for the positioning of your photos. Copy your photos into the Photoshop document which contains the PDF template. Re-size and then drag over to the circles.
  • The circles help you to position your photos and they are not meant to be printed! Be sure that they are on the layer below the photo layer.
  • When choosing a photo, think about where the central hole will be placed, taking care not to choose a photo which will result in the hole "landing" in an awkward position (such as an eye, a forehead, etc!)
  • The circles are a little bit larger (appr. 2 cm) than the actual printing area, so you can fit your photos directly in. Of course you can also leave a little bit bleed.
  • When printing do not scale the pages (e.g. fit to paper or shrink large pages) as otherwise the positions would not fit anymore.

OUTER LABELS

Dimensions: L: 28.1 cm (visible area: approx. 27 cm, the sticker overlaps by 1 cm once it is
                                 applied to the tin)
W:  4.6 cm (visible area: approx. 4.4 cm, the bottom of the label will be
                                 hidden under the clock bottom)

The following logos and texts MUST be included on your customized label:

  1. MyClock™ logo: min. 1.5 cm diameter
  2. recycling bin logo: min. W 0.6 x H 0.9 cm
  3. concept patented by www.myclock.com : font size min. 10pt
  4. BRISA Entertainment GmbH, Hauptstr. 6, 85462 Reisen, Germany

Word-Template

  • Paste your Photo/s into a Word document, importing the photo over the rectangle. Adjust your graphic with a right mouse click over the photo - e.g. make the photo larger, smaller, put it behind the rectangle, crop it, etc., so that your photo fits over the rectangle. The rectangles help you to position your images and are not supposed to be printed.
  • We advise you to use an artwork that shows only less white areas. As the label will be sticked onto the already existing label, the original artwork could shine through.
  • Attention: the yellow line marks the printing area (of the sticker that you will be applying); the magenta line marks the visible area (when you apply the sticker to the clock, the one end of the sticker will overlap the other. Also the bottom of the label will be hidden under the clock bottom. See above for exact measurements.)
  • Leave a bleed of 2-3 mm of your image on each side, so your image will be printed correctly onto the labels and there will be no white edges visible. Be careful that your image does not have too much bleed which will overlap onto the neighbouring label.
  • Ideally please do a test print on a blank piece of paper. Hold the test printout behind the perforated sticker sheet and hold them together against a source of light. This way you can verify that your images are correctly positioned and that the printing areas match.
  • When printing do not scale the pages (e.g. fit to paper or shrink large pages) as otherwise the positions would not fit anymore.
  • Please note that there is a smaller and a wider border on each sticker sheet! Be sure you insert the sticker sheet correctly into the printer.

Specification „our paper":

  1. - Signolit SC 44 A4 - self-adhesive polyester film for laser printer
  2. - Printer Settings: OHP films / thick paper / foils / labels
  3. - single sheet feeding or material transport in a straight line if possible
