Sophie Charlotte introduced the first performances of operas by Italian musicians, while Frederick I preferred the Germanspeaking music theatre.The music of Georg Philipp Telemann - a regular guest at court - is featured with the concerto for trumpet and 2 violins in D major and the concerto for trumpet and 2 oboes in D major, as well as works by Johann Theile and Johann Phillip Krieger.
